My deepest intention is to create a world where our children feel free to be the truest expressions of themselves. Deeply rooted in confidence, so that they choose their AUTHENTIC selves over conditioning. Children are our future.

 

When I close my eyes, I envision birthing and parenting our children in a loving, connected and harmonious way. Their journey begins long before they are earthside. It begins at the very first moment of conception. What would be different if we were able and supported enough to conceive in complete awareness? Pregnancy then becomes our greatest gift, a time to attune to whatever is stuck within our bodies. Our consciousness, our choices, our willingness to heal - it is all reflected in them. For one, because our nervous system as a family is one. When we REWIRE the imprints of our own birth stories, they receive this anchored in their nervous system too.

 

On my one-year anniversary of giving birth again, I felt this truth so deeply in my body. During a breathwork session with a dear sister who had held me through pregnancy and birth, I realised WHY I created The Birth Portal. Most of us carry an imprint from our own birth - something that quietly shapes the way we move through life. In birth, a core belief about ourselves or life is often CLOSED into our nervous system, repeating itself again and again in different forms.

 

But when we give birth ourselves, something extraordinary happens. Birth becomes an OPENING on every level. A chance to unravel what has been held for so long, to release stuckness from the body, and to anchor in new ways of being. If we let nature move as it knows how, birth becomes both the closing and the opening. That is its greatest gift. Birth as a PORTAL.

 

On a larger scale, I believe that all hurt — within ourselves and in the world — can be transformed in the way we interact with our little ones. And this TRANSFORMATION begins at birth.
